Mid Term Break
Next Week it is mid term break – did someone say staycation ??? Well no matter where you go its an opportunity to spend some valued time with friends and family. Coming to the Northcoast you have endless options of things to do regardless of the weather. Most important is to take appropriate clothing! Closest to us is Garvagh Forest with a huge financial investment of £100K on developing bike trails and car park it really is worth taking a little 5 minute drive from The Fairy Glen. Most important element if you are biking is to wear a helmet and take clothes you don’t mind getting mucky.
Going for a spin in the car? Endless routes around the Northcoast totally breath taking scenery and so many lovely little restaurants plotted along the country roads. So lets do a quick break down of places you need to visit to truly appreciate…
- Dark Hedges
- Dunluce Castle
- Carrick-a-Rede Rope bridge
- Giants Causeway
- Mussenden Temple
- Rathlin Island
- Portrush / Portstewart
- Old Bushmills Distillery
Plan your trips, check opening hours and fees as some are charged to visit but not all. Of course you can always just hang around your cabins and the Fairy Glen with free Wifi, play areas, mini forest and stream, hot tubs, fire pit, and tree house to occupy adventurers and explorers. Oh and not forgetting Marti and Gerry our two red setters who love playing with guests children and getting lots of attention.
