Vivid colours and dark nights
We can all get bogged down with all that is happening with the world and ‘cost of living’ crisis….lets try and put that to one side just for a moment and notice all that is good around us. I am not crazy about the dark nights and mornings however I do love the wonderous spectacle of nature and the variety of colours presented to us…even the many double rainbows gifted to us every other day. Just take a moment, go outside invite the cool crisp air to enhance our lungs and hear the crunch of the fallen leaves as we take a walk in nature and slow down to do things that we may not do any other time of year. Nature is our friend and we are so thankful to be surrounded with so much of it here at The Fairy Glen (even if the heavens opened and gave us a battering a few weeks ago) I have learned that we allow everything here to go with the flow – work doubles this time of year trying to keep the space safe and protected but as long as the birds keep singing and the long neck Heron keeps visiting to snack on the fish in the stream we are doing ok. We had an abundance of fungii this year – serious amount of varieties which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring and making up stories about which fairy families lived there. Roll on the Winter ….until then take care and get outside.
